Catholic Charities offers care options for older adults who require some assistance in order to continue to live safely within the community, rather than in a nursing home or attendant care facility. Our adult day center provides partial and full day service for seniors enabling their caregivers to maintain employment and other family responsibilities. The Adult Day Services Center also function as a resource hub for families and caregivers of older adults providing information on aging needs as well as educational opportunities and support groups for caregivers. Service: Catholic Charities’ Adult Day Service and Resource Center is large enough to offer a wide range of services, yet small enough to respond personally and promptly to individual needs. The Center provides certified nursing assistants to respond to care needs, varied daily programming based on participants' needs and wants, recreational activities, snacks and lunch in a beautiful, homelike setting. For additional fees, participants have access to on-site specialized bathing facilities, podiatrists, and beauticians, and to individual counseling sessions. Safe, supervised settings meet the daily care needs of the participants while encouraging them to maintain self-help and social skills.
Clients Served: Adult Day Service participants benefit from the variety of activities, socialization and staff interaction. Participant medical conditions may include: stroke, arthritis, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, as well as developmental disabilities. Fees for Services: Services are provided through private pay, State, County or Veteran Administration public benefits or reduced fees based on income eligibility. The programs are subsidized by agency donations.
