Ways To Give

Help Those Most in Need

Your gift helps our most vulnerable living in poverty or crisis throughout southeast Wisconsin.  Thanks to gifts like yours, a single mother is able to care for her newborn child, a homeless man living with mental illness can receive the care he needs, and a refugee couple is able to feed and clothe their family. For nearly a century, Catholic Charities has turned these hopes into a reality thanks to the support of selfless individuals like you. You can make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of over 40,000 people through your gift to Catholic Charities.

  Life Insurance

You may choose to designate Catholic Charities as the beneficiary, or partial beneficiary, of a life insurance policy. There is no income tax benefit with this option, but a possible estate tax benefit. You may also donate existing policies that are no longer needed. Tax deductions may be equal to the policy's cash replacement value. A donor may also purchase a policy and name Catholic Charities as the owner and beneficiary; the premiums you pay are fully tax deductible. At the donor's death, the charity receives the insurance proceeds.

Every individual’s situation is unique, and Catholic Charities encourages you to work with a trusted financial adviser to determine what options will work best for you.  For more information, please contact:
