Catholic Charities is here to help parishes, parishioners, and parish volunteers!
Do you know parishioners facing crisis situations? Unemployed and in need of community resource information? Looking to connect with pregnancy support services? In need of individual, couple or family counseling? Are older and need help in their home? Have questions on immigration?
Are your Human Concerns, Outreach, or St. Vincent de Paul volunteers feeling overwhelmed by the growing number of requests for help from individuals and families in your community and neighborhood? Are the same families returning month after month for assistance? Please know that Catholic Charities is here for you!
Our Parish Relations Coordinator would be happy to meet with parish staff, outreach, human concerns, St. Vincent de Paul and any parish group or school staff to see how your parish and Catholic Charities can work together. Contact Sharon Brumer, Parish Relations Coordinator, at 414-769-3543 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Get your school students involved in helping others!
Are you looking for a special project that will engage students in helping people in need? Check out our KIDS KICKING POVERTY program flyer, showing how students from K5 through high school can choose projects to help the people we serve. This is a great way to promote the tenants of Catholic Social Teaching, to encourage class discussion about poverty, and give students of any age the opportunity to be engaged in a creative and meaningful collection.
Go to our KIDS KICKING POVERTY page to view photos of schools who have completed collections so far in 2017 and to explore ways your school can get involved!
