Under a new administration, there are many questions about changes to immigration laws. No official changes to laws have occurred at this time. We urge you not to pay for legal services at this time for the Eight Year Citizenship plan as it does not exist yet as a law. The safety and health of our clients and the immigrant community as a whole is central to all of the work that we do here at Refugee and Immigration Services. With that in mind, we request that you only come to our office in person if you are an existing client with a previously scheduled appointment. If you have scheduled an appointment and are not feeling well, please call or e-mail us to reschedule your appointment.
In maintaining our existing policy, we do not accept walk-ups and our attorneys are only able to meet with individuals who have been previously scheduled or who already have an open case with us. Please stay safe during this time; remember to wash your hands, limit your interactions with other people in public, and do not leave your home if you do not have to; smart practices like these will not only help keep you safe but your community as well! Until further notice, our office will continue to be open during normal hours of operation, Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. If this changes at any point, we will post an update here.
